Following the success of his efforts in New York, detailed here, Brad Sundberg will be continuing his “In The Studio With Michael Jackson” seminars by bringing the King of Pop’s spirit and genius to life for fans in additional locations.

“It is hard to put into a few words what it was like to work so closely with Michael Jackson for nearly 18 years,” Brad told me. “In fact it is nearly impossible. I miss him, and I’d like to tell you what it was like to be in the studio and at Neverland with him.”

Mr. Sundberg’s next stop will be a six hour limited-attendance engagement in Orlando, U.S.

“I booked Starke Studios for Saturday, August 31st, 2013, and the facility looks amazing,” announced Sundberg at his official “In The Studio With Michael Jackson” Facebook page.

“[The] seminar will be longer in length (than those held in New York), which will give me time to play more music and video and share a few more stories,” revealed Sundberg. “I will dig deep into the projects I was directly involved in: Bad, Dangerous and HIStory. There will also be snippets and stories from Captain EO, Off The Wall and Thriller.”

In addition to extending the duration of the seminars to include even more unseen and unheard material, Sundberg will give all those in attendance access to the “Family Friday” dinner – something only VIP ticket holders got in New York.

As if that wasn’t enough, Sundberg will bring his personal Westlake speakers for playback in the Orlando seminar.

“These are the EXACT speakers that Bruce [Swedien] and Michael [Jackson] used to mix and evaluate mixes on the Dangerous and HIStory albums,” said Sundberg, explaining that the speakers were gifted to him at the conclusion of the HIStory album.

“If they were good enough for Michael’s ears, I think you will be pleased.”

And if the New York seminars are anything to go by, fans will be pleased – to say the least!

“I expected Brad Sundberg’s ‘In the Studio with MJ’ seminar to be great. Boy was I wrong! More like riveting, captivating [and] emotional,” recalled Gina D of the New York engagement she attended. “Brad told touching and fun stories from the heart about his many years working closely with Michael. His respect for him was evident throughout. I was truly blown away by the amazing video and audio recordings of our sweet genius at work. This was a first class seminar put on by a first class guy. No MJ fan should miss it.”

“I cannot thank you enough for all the gems and treasures you shared with us. You have no idea how much it means,” added Gaston F, who was also at one of the New York seminars.

“This seminar is a unique and exciting opportunity for fans to get to know Michael the artist, as well as Michael the person,” agreed Tarin C, who attended in New York. “You will never hear his music the same way again!”

“He strove for perfection, yet was amazingly kind,” Sundberg told me, of Jackson. “He entertained millions, yet greeted me with a hug each time we met. He was worth a king’s ransom, yet the smallest act of kindness meant the world to him. He was a superstar, a boss, a co-worker, a guy with huge ideas, and a friend.”

“I hope you can join me for this one-of-a-kind event, where you will see things you have never seen, hear things you have never heard, and learn things you never knew.”

Tickets are on sale now for the Orlando engagement (click here to book) – but it won’t stop there!

Also on Sundberg’s radar are seminars in Paris, France (October 2013 – click here to book) and Los Angeles, U.S. (June 2014 – stay tuned). He has even discussed the possibility of bringing them to Australia!

Jackson’s Aussie fans are so keen to see Sundberg’s seminars visit Down Under that they’ve created this campaign page – Bring “In the Studio with Michael Jackson” to Australia – on Facebook, in the hopes of attracting enough genuine interest to pull the venture off!

More information on Brad Sundberg:

“Michael Jackson was a once-in-lifetime artist who created some of the most unique and memorable music in recording history. He surrounded himself with a very small group of musicians, producers and engineers who helped turn his ideas into reality. Brad Sundberg joined this team during the production of Captain Eo in 1985, and stayed with Michael as one of his engineers and technical director (in the studio as well as at Neverland Valley Ranch) for nearly 18 years. During that time Brad was actively involved in the studio production of four of Michael’s studio albums: “Bad”, “Dangerous”, “HIStory”, and “Blood On The Dancefloor”. Brad was involved in the remixes and edits for the countless singles, short-films and tour preparation generated from these monster projects.

As Michael’s incredible Neverland Valley Ranch grew from dream to reality, he brought Brad in to design and install music and video systems in virtually every corner of the property. Michael would never settle for “carnival-grade” technology, so Brad treated each project with the same attention to detail as when he built listening and dance systems for Michael. Michael chose the music, but he trusted Brad to make it sound great.

Brad has created a series of very unique seminars, describing what it was like to have worked so closely with Michael Jackson. The seminar is very music-driven, with stories and little-known trivial facts shared about how the albums were recorded in the various studios. If you are a fan of Michael’s, or curious about his working style, you will enjoy being a part of one of these very special events.”
